Injury Free for 2 years - In Person Training

I have trained with Theresa for the last 2 1/2 years. I am now 63 years old and quite physically active. My primary goal was to prolong my participation in activities such as rock climbing, mountaineering and Tae Kwon Do. Before I started, injuries from cycling accidents made it painful to tighten the laces on my hiking boots. As a result of my training with Theresa, I've been injury free the last 2 years and my capabilities in climbing and Tae Kwon Do have improved. - Ira H.

Overcoming Injury - In Person Training

I’ve been training with Theresa for 2 Years. I started working with her to get back into shape after a devastating elbow injury. I also have a previous back injury . Theresa was able to significantly increase my strength and stamina all the while being sure I did not get injured. You don’t need a cheerleader, you need an educated coach that knows how to push you to max effort without getting hurt. Yoga Instructor Shoulder is Stronger - Custom Fitness Plan

I am a full-time yoga and Pilates teacher, so my body is my job. However, I have had bad shoulders and neck issues for over 13 years. … Years into my yoga teaching career, while teaching 10-15+ hours every week, I still could not lift my arms overhead with straight elbows and without jacking up my neck. 6 months ago when I filmed a Pilates video for my online studio, I still had horrible overhead range of motion. I didn't realize how bad it was until watching that video yesterday. Just a few months later, I can reach my arms straight overhead with so little effort, I hadn't even noticed how DRASTIC the change was until I saw that video. WHAT CHANGED? I started USING my shoulders. T and I have been working on pull-ups. Actually hanging with my arms overhead and using my shoulders to PULL - as well as smart training of the stabilizing muscles around the shoulders - has wildly changed the health of my shoulders and back. Additionally, I used to have a VISIBLE imbalance in the muscles at the top of my shoulders and my upper shoulders wildly overworked everywhere in my day to day life. What that meant was neck pain and *excruciating* headaches anytime I got stressed or overdid things with my upper body (think: painting a room, etc.). The imbalance is now nearly imperceptible. If you glance at my shoulders, you would no longer be able to tell which is the injured one. I truly cannot recommend Theresa highly enough. As a professional, I know a good trainer when I meet one. Shorts Are Fitting - In Person Training

SHOUT OUT to Goodrich Performance and Theresa Goodrich for whooping my butt into shape. Seriously hit an all time body weight high early this year and I needed HELP! Theresa is amazing, SHE COMES TO MY HOUSE and makes me work out, she tries to convince me to eat healthier (I refuse to give up ice-cream and that’s ok) and she educates me on how to move safely when exercising. Down 8 pounds and shorts are starting to fit again! - Michelle M.
